Super XX Man

A lone-man project by Scott Garred, member of the Silver Scooter, both out of Austin, Texas. A very simple and honest approach exposes a good-natured and likeable boy. His over pronounced and over personal lyrics can be rather hard to swallow, but they are laid on such a pleasant bed of Casio drums and picked guitar they never annoy. The better songs are bigger in sounds (a whole other guitar and voice) and more imaginative in lyricism; "The Destroyer" and "Dreamin' Man." Sadly, the majority are bedroom songs, proud bedroom songs.
