Seattle emo outfit Sunny Day Real Estate will reportedly reunite for a tour this spring, marking their first performances in 12 years.

According to SPIN, who cite "people familiar with the situation," the latest Sunny Day Real Estate reunion will include original vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Enigk, guitarist Dan Hoerner and drummer William Goldsmith playing with "as-yet-unnamed additional musicians."

The publication notes that original bassist Nate Mendel, who currently plays with Foo Fighters, will not take part in the yet-to-be-revealed reunion dates, adding, "No additional details were available and group members were unavailable for comment."

Prior to today's report, drummer Goldsmith has been teasing reunion activity via his personal Instagram feed, sharing now-deleted rehearsal videos of him playing drum parts for Sunny Day Real Estate songs, and a screenshot of a text message exchange with guitarist Hoerner.

Additionally, a new account with the handle @SDREtour also recently appeared on the platform, but has yet to be populated.

Formed in 1992, Sunny Day Real Estate last toured in 2009 and 2010, marking their third reunion. The band have yet to release a follow-up to 2000's The Rising Tide

In 2018, Goldsmith claimed that a new album from the band — which he called "the greatest Sunny Day Real Estate record ever made" — was "silenced, abandoned and buried within the murkiest depths of David Grohl's sock drawer," a claim that Mendel denied.
