SUMAC's New Song Offers 20 Minutes of Pure Metal Intensity

Hear the epic title track of 'May You Be Held'

Art metal trio SUMAC — a collaboration between Isis's Aaron Turner, Russian Circles' Brian Cook and Baptists drummer Nick Yacyshyn — are about to drop a new full-length called May You Be Held. Before they do, they've given us another glimpse of the LP via it's epic and sprawling title track.

"May You Be Held" is a self-contained world as a song, offering plenty of twists and turns through its near 20-minute runtime. This is really anything and everything you could want from a SUMAC song, challenging and pleasing listeners throughout its play time.

Listen to "May You Be Held" below.

Previously, the band released "The Iron Chair." May You Be Held  will arrive on October 2 through Thrill Jockey.

Pre-order May You Be Held.
