The Up Here Urban Art & Music Festival is set to return to Sudbury, ON, this summer for its third edition. Though it's months away yet, organizers have lifted the curtain on the first round of musical programming for this year's event.

San Francisco outfit Deerhoof top the bill, followed by Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, the Fleshtones, Samito, Lido Pimienta and Bernardino Femminielli. A press release notes that an additional 40 artists and muralists will be announced in the coming weeks, as well as a full performance schedule.

Up Here's 2017 edition takes place from August 18 to 20 at a variety of venues around downtown Sudbury. In addition to musical entertainment, the fest will turn the city into "an art-filled wonderland" with live mural creations and interactive art installations.

A limited amount of earlybird festival passports are available for $80 each, guaranteeing the buyer access to all concerts. Further information can be found at the festival website.
