Subtle Go On Tour, Prepare Remix Album

BY Josiah HughesPublished Sep 24, 2008

Oakland experimental hip-hop crew Subtle are flying high on the heels of the recently released ExitingARM, and to celebrate they’ve announced some November tour dates. Kicking off in Portland on November 7, the band will take their show through the States before playing some shows in Montreal and Toronto, and then winding the whole thing down in New York. Even more exciting is the fact that all dates will be supported by Zach Hill and his backing band, Peer Pressure. In addition, Pattern is Movement will pop up on the second half of the tour.

The band have also announced that they will be releasing a remix record titled SmallFear/Souvenir. The album will feature artists like Trans Am, Alias, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Genghis Tron and Thee More Shallows interpreting tracks from ExitingARM. A release date and official tracklisting are still in the works.
