If touching down in Seattle gives you an instant urge to seek out anything Sub Pop related, your life just got a lot easier, as the fabled label has revealed plans to open a retail store in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

The store was recently announced in an employment ad on Sub Pop's website that had the company seeking out a store manager.

Though details on the store have not yet been revealed in full, it's expected to open later this spring. Presumably, the store will be selling CDs and LPs of their artists, as well as other Sub Pop merchandise like mugs, hats and T-shirts. This means you can now get the total Seattle experience by pairing your freshly percolated Starbucks coffee with a reissue of Bleach or cram a "Loser" T-shirt in your carry-on before you take off.

If you're interested in applying for the job, the label is looking for someone with "knowledge of the Sub Pop catalog, Pacific Northwest music, the Seattle music community, and the city of." If you're confident enough to upsell copies of the upcoming Chad VanGaalen and Afghan Whigs LPs, namedrop the Sonics or give out directions to the Jimi Hendrix statue downtown, then this is the job for you.
