Stuck on Planet Earth

"We'd Kill the World" (video)

Hailing from the upscale suburban sprawl of Vaughan, ON, alt-rock three-piece Stuck on Planet Earth are ready to bring their "seedy back-stories about heat and lust, love and loss" to a wider crowd at Canadian Music Week next month. But before they do, they've given Exclaim! the premiere of their brand new video for "We'd Kill the World."

The track blends frenzied, emotional verses with a sparser, stomp-along chorus that's lifted up by some growly harmonies in the background. As for the clip, it's primarily a black and white affair, but it gets injected with some bursts of light and colour in the form of cartoonish hearts, sparkly red lips, and an assortment of fancy visual effects.

It was directed by friend of the band, Billy Wild, who was instructed to incorporate some "trippy" elements to match the high-energy pace of the song.

The band will likely be showing off the new single during their set at CMW, where they'll be opening for Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts on May 7 at the Mod Club. For now, though, check out the brand new video for "We'd Kill the World" in the player below.
