Strong Intention

Long-running Baltimore, MD hardcore/grind warriors Strong Intention return with Razorblade Express, an aptly titled six-track EP that clocks in at less than ten minutes. The titular opener sets itself apart from the rest, in terms of length and speed, being the longest of all six tracks and featuring more of a mid-paced, doomy groove in comparison to the whiplash old school hardcore and grind that makes up the rest of the EP. "Razorblade Express" also notably features guest vocals from Eyehategod's Mike IX Williams, who adds his unique screech to the track, making it stand out as the most diverse number on the release. "Messiah Whore" kicks up the tempo ten-fold, seething punk attitude, aggressive thrash riffs and pummelling drums. The rest of Razorblade Express carries on in this way, making for an ultimate, straight-up rager.
