Hailing from Orangeville, ON, the Discarded are set to release a new EP titled Not from This Town later this month. Ahead of the record's release, though, Exclaim! is giving you a chance to hear the whole thing.
"Not from This Town shows the band coming together as a complete song writing team," the band tell Exclaim! "Each member contributing to the sound and arrangements to produce a whole greater than the individual parts. It's still heavy, punk/garage influenced rock and roll but developing a sound and dynamic all their own."
That growth can be heard in the title tune, which has been paired with a clip that sees the group wandering the streets of Toronto — checking out skyscrapers, music venues, murals and some cafes.
