While we've known about the second season of Stranger Things for a while now, we've finally got all the details on the upcoming soundtrack for the show's return. And yes, the score is once again being done by S U R V I V E synth masters Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein.
The soundtrack to Season 2 will arrive first digitally on October 20 via Invada/Lakeshore. Vinyl, CD and cassette releases will then follow at a later date — no doubt with a truly insane amount of variants.

"In Season 2 we're introducing new styles of composition, while still revisiting old themes when appropriate," Dixon and Stein said in a statement [via Pitchfork]. "We've created new elements that are necessary to support the story, but still want to remain true to the sound of Season 1."
