It's nearly impossible to engage with Daisy Jones & The Six without thinking about how familiar it all feels. Stevie Nicks herself can't help but compare the Taylor Jenkins-Reid created story to her with Fleetwood Mac — though it seems she finds it flattering.

The artist finally made her official stance on the book-turned-show in an Instagram post on Tuesday (August 16). She shared that she's watched the show twice — and it brought her back to her past.

"Just finished watching Daisy Jones & the Six for the second time," she wrote. "In the beginning, it wasn't really my story, but Riley [Keough, who plays Daisy Jones] seamlessly, soon became my story. It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story."

Nicks also said she thinks her late bandmate Christine McVie would have enjoyed it as well: "It was very emotional for me. I just wish Christine could have seen it. She would have loved it."

She concluded by saying she hopes the show continues. Though the limited series ended where the book did, who knows how else the Daisy Jones cinematic universe could be expanded.

While Fleetwood Mac was the main inspiration for Jenkins-Reid's novel, Broken Social Scene were also called upon to share their history with the show's writers as it was being developed.
