Brooklyn six-string slinger Steve Gunn released his first LP for Matador Records with Eyes on the Lines earlier this year. After recently touring the record across Europe and North America, he's teamed up with Sonic Youth axe man Lee Ranaldo for a run of co-headlining solo dates to kickstart 2017.
A press release describes the North American tour as "a more low key affair for the two tirelessly touring musicians," promising performances of material both old and new as well as collaboration. After Gunn returns from spending November touring Europe, the two will make their way through the East Coast and American Midwest in January.
Gunn and Ranaldo have also lined up two Canadian dates as part of the run, playing back-to-back evenings in Montreal and Toronto at the PHI Centre and the Great Hall, respectively. Tickets for all shows are available this Friday (November 11) at 10 p.m. EST.
