The music world was rocked by the news of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's death in July of this year. The latest musical tribute to the late vocalist comes from friend and collaborator Steve Aoki, who has mashed up two songs he worked on with the band.
Aoki's "Darker Than the Light That Never Bleeds" (Chester Forever Steve Aoki Remix) brings together "Darker Than Blood" and "A Light That Never Comes." All net proceeds from the remix, which can be purchased today, will be donated to Music For Relief's One More Light fund in Bennington's name.
"Chester Bennington was my favourite singer of all time," Aoki said in a statement. "I feel so incredibly honored to not only have worked with him on these two songs but am so deeply touched to have gotten to know him as a friend. I'm still shattered by this tragic loss."
