"Turn It Up"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 3, 2014

revealed plans for their return with No One Is Lost and now the Montreal band have shared another track from the upcoming album.

Ditching the neon lights and rollerskates of the previously heard "From the Night," latest tune "Turn It Up" is a back-to-school ditty that hears Amy Millan and Torquil Campbell joined on vocals by a bunch of school children. It's a sweet-sounding number that encapsulates the transition into fall.

A statement about the new song from Millan reads:

The first day of school carries the fear, the thrill, the nerves and the new. Summer evaporates into hallways, lockers and knapsacks. Chances for gangs and that perfect crush. Hope you had a good one today kids. If you did, if you didn't, close your eyes get your headphones on, lie on the floor and open your heart to September.

No One Is Lost will be released on October 14 via ATO. Give "Turn It Up" a listen below and download it here in exchange for an email address.
