Star-studded George Harrison Tribute Concert Film and Album Set for Release
Last September, an impressive array of artists came together to celebrate the life and work of George Harrison with a tribute concert at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. Now, that tribute is getting released as a concert film with an accompanying album.
 
George Fest: A Night to Celebrate the Music of George Harrison will be released on February 26 through Hot/Vagrant. It will be treated to four different formats, arriving as two-CD set with a DVD, a two-CD set with a Blu-Ray, a three-LP collection, and as a digital download.
 
The star-studded lineup featured performances from the likes of Brian Wilson, Norah Jones, the Flaming Lips, Weird Al Yankovic and Conan O'Brien, as well as members of Spoon, the Strokes, the Killers, the Cult and Weezer. Harrison's son Dhani Harrison also makes a number of appearances.
