Following the 2010 album Burn Daylights Like Torches, Calgary-based group Stalwart Sons have returned with a sophomore LP called Stay Cold. While the album arrived this week on vinyl, you can also stream in its entirety online.
Like their previous material, Stay Cold sees the band toe the line between '90s post-hardcore and Springsteen-esque rock'n'roll. Add thoughtful lyrics, shifting tempos and strong arrangements, and fans of those genres will see Stay Cold as 27 minutes in heaven.
