Published Mar 24, 2014Organizers behind the long-running St. Catharines music festival SCENE have unveiled details on the first batch of performers attached to the Ontario event's 19th annual edition, with some of the Canadian heavies including Marianas Trench, Matthew Good and long-haired rock crew the Sheepdogs.
This year's fest runs a bit different than previous instalments, with the performances being spread out across two days instead of one. The sets go down June 28 and 29, with mainstage artists set to perform at Montebello Park. While a full roster of talent has yet to be revealed, other headliners set to appear during SCENE include Monster Truck, the Arkells and Lights.
Smaller acts are being encouraged to get in touch with organizers about playing SCENE, with applications currently being take over on Sonic Bids. Early bird submission rates are applicable until April 5, whereupon the rate shoots up to $30. The deadline for submission is May 2.
As for ticketing, a variety of passes go up for sale on March 29 at discounted, early bird prices. A general admission pass for a single day will cost you $34.50, or two days for $59.50. VIP passes, meanwhile, go for $59.50 for one day and $99.50 for two. The prices go up for all tickets on April 4.
