Squarepusher Returns with New Album 'Be Up a Hello'

He plays Canada on tour next April

Having recently released records under his given name and as Shobaleader One, Tom Jenkinson has now announced his first album as Squarepusher in five years.

Jenkinson will release new album Be Up a Hello on January 31 through Warp. The record marks his first as Squarepusher since 2015's Damogen Furies and finds him returning to using vintage analogue and digital hardware that defined his early '90s sound.

Nine tracks in length, Be Up a Hello is said to be informed by the "mayhem, joyousness and abandon of the DIY Essex rave scene." You can hear album track "Vortrack" and its accompanying "Fracture Mix" in the players below.

Jenkinson will take the album on tour throughout North America next April, playing Montreal and Toronto. You can find his tour itinerary below.
