Squamish Valley Music Festival Announces Lineup with Queens of the Stone Age, Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Dan Mangan
The lineup to BC's annual Squamish Valley Music Festival (formerly known as LIVE at Squamish) was revealed last night (March 1), with the big news being that Queens of the Stone Age and Vampire Weekend will make their way out to the West Coast this summer to headline the event.

Organizers broke the news at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom in between sets from electro-popster Diamond Rings and BC rockers Yukon Blonde, who are both slotted to play the festival, which runs August 8-10 at Squamish's Hendrickson Fields & Logger Sports Ground.

Other bands scheduled to perform include Divine Fits, Band of Horses, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Jurassic 5, Community star/rapper Childish Gambino, Golgol Bordello, A Tribe Called Red, Young the Giant, Fitz and the Tantrums, and more.

As with previous instalments, there will also be a strong BC presence at the fest, with performers including Dan Mangan, Said the Whale, Fine Times, the Ballantynes, Basketball, Dustin Bentall and the Smokes, and Gang Signs, among others.

Tickets go on sale March 8, with a limited early-bird weekend pass running at $99 (it'll shoot to $209 at the gate). You can find out info on single day and camping passes over here.
