Now that you've had a chance to hear Spookey Ruben's complete back catalogue, Toronto fans will soon have ample opportunities to watch the eclectic songwriter play his tunes in the flesh. Ruben has confirmed the details of a September residency at Not My Dog, where he will perform every Sunday.
The night is called Spookey Sundays, and there will be five of them next month. Ruben will play a solo acoustic set each night, and he has also hand picked an additional performer for every show. The shows will start at 9:30 p.m. with admission by donation. See the guest performers for each night in the schedule below.
Last month, Ruben revealed on his website that he was entering the studio with Ontario songwriter Thunderclap (who is performing at the first night of Spookey Sundays on September 2). He wrote, "Yeah ok, let's make a new album!"
