The Spits

IV

It's reasonable to assume that the Spits may have discovered time travel. There's no other way three guys from Seattle, today, could have made a record that so convincingly sounds like it was made in 1982. Placed alongside Walk Among Us and Ramones, this collection of snotty, angry punk anthems reflects the adolescent nihilism of punk's first wave with the appropriate degree of sonic fidelity, producing catchy songs that sound like long-lost classics of a bygone punk rock era. Fans of the Screamers, Misfits and Ramones should check this out or risk missing out on some strange, worthwhile sonic gems.
