The iTunes edition of Spencer Burton's Don't Let the World See Your Love comes with a couple of exclusive cuts, and now he's shared one of them as a stream. It's a demo of album opener "Death of Gold."
While this is only a demo, it's a very clean-sounding folk performance with deft acoustic plucking and earthy, reverb-tinged croons. We're guessing that there's a little more instrumentation on the final album version, but this is a decidedly pretty preview.
Don't Let the World See Your Love is out on September 16 via Dine Alone Records. In addition to the extras-loaded iTunes edition, physical packages come with bags of his own coffee blend and mugs. Those can be pre-ordered here.
