Spank Rock Bounces Back with New LP

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 7, 2011

Five years following the release of his down and dirty debut disc, YoYoYoYoYo, experimental indie rapper Spank Rock is finally back. While earlier this year the Baltimore rapper (born Naeem Juwan) premiered his smooth, '80s cop rock project, Mobroder, he's getting back to business with his newly announced sophomore set, Everything Is Boring and Everyone Is a Fucking Liar.

Whether he's returning to the lewd and lascivious sex rhymes of older tunes like "Put That Pussy on Me" remains to be seen, but Spank Rock will be pairing up again with producer pal XXXChange on some numbers. German beat-maker Boys Noize will act as executive producer, while Santigold drops by on "Cars" and bounce star Big Freedia contributes to "Nasty." Other contributors include Pharrell Williams and N.A.S.A. producer Squeak E. Clean.

A full tracklisting has yet to appear, but you can download new cut "Energy" below for the price of an email.

Everything Is Boring and Everyone Is a Fucking Liar comes out September 27 on Spank Rock's Bad Blood imprint.
