Spacesuits

I'm always down for another journey into space with Moka Only, his primary stomping ground when he's not upcoast. His fellow Spacesuits on this mission include Mr Brady, LMNO and Jules Chaz. The latter's production has that off kilter sound and a spacey vibe that helps to create an otherworldly effect, the type of beat Moka has proven himself capable of ripping on multiple occasions. Moka's airy singing is also a welcome contribution on "Float" and "Contact." Unfortunately, the Spacesuits spend more time grounded on earthly subjects than on spacey things, the topic pretty much just braggadocio with random space references, the lyrics probably often freestyles.

Mr. Brady is a valuable addition to the crew, his deeper, whispery voice a nice contrast to Moka and LMNO. The latter, however, is a mission disaster like Harland Williams' character in Rocketman, his simple lyrics (see: "Lottery picks/ A dollar short for the ticket/ It's all a game of cricket/ Blocking the wicket" on "Navigation") are made even more evident by his simple delivery and emphasis on nearly every rhyming word. The beats are truly the highlight of Spacesuits, and Moka and Brady definitely fill the space well, but the flight would be smoother with a slightly smaller crew.
