Source Of Tide

Blueprints

Talk about taking experimentation too far, Source Of Tide sound more like a long compilation album than a band. Some ties to some of the more popular experimental black metal outfits of today exist here, but one wishes these guys would just keep their creative output to those bands. A quick rundown: electronic goth metal, melodic black, troublesome industrial and far too much meandering irrelevance. To the band's credit, this seems more like an attempt at creative and self-satisfying art than a cash-in or forced expression, but it just doesn't translate well to the listener.
