Soundgarden are being honoured with a new concert film and album. The sprawling live package is titled Soundgarden: Live from the Artists Den, which arrives as part of the Artists Den live music series and comes with the blessing of the estate for late singer Chris Cornell.

Live from the Artists Den is set to arrive in various formats on July 26 via UMe.

The source material for the package comes from Soundgarden's 2013 Artists Den taping, which was captured in the wake of their final album King Animal. The performance took place at the Wiltern in Los Angeles and found the band playing for two and a half hours, during which time they delivered a massive career-spanning set list full of both hits and rarities.

"We were very proud and excited to document the performance of our new material from King Animal," guitar player Kim Thayil said in a statement. "And to celebrate with each other and our fans."

The most extravagant version of the release is a limited-edition Super Deluxe box set. It features the full 29-song performance on Blu-ray, 30 minutes of interview footage with the band, four vinyl LPs, two CDs and a photo book, among other memorabilia.

You can have a look at it below.

The concert film and live album will also be available digitally, as well as in various shrunk-down physical formats, including a 4-LP black vinyl set, a 4-LP colour vinyl set, a 2-CD package, and a Blu-ray.

You can learn more about all the configurations, as well as see the massive tracklist, over here, where you can also pre-order the set.

"This live show was really special, and I know how much fun Chris had that night," Chris Cornell's widow Vicky Cornell said in a statement. "The idea of giving fans the opportunity to experience it in its entirety is something I'm proud to share with them."

There will also be a few "immersive events" held in Los Angeles and New York, in addition to a regular screening in Seattle, in June. You can also learn more about those here.
