Soul Jazz's Future Bass Compilation Ropes In Four Tet, Mala, Randomer

BY Josiah HughesPublished Aug 30, 2010

Earlier this summer, Four Tet and Mala teamed up for a split twelve-inch on the Soul Jazz imprint. The record featured exclusive tracks from each of the artists, and came in advance of the label's eclectic Future Bass compilation. Now, the rest of that release has been detailed.

According to a press release, the 13-track collection includes "the most pioneering producers of the day to create music that is post-dubstep, post-house, post everything." In other words, these are some of the current electronic scene's most forward-thinking and unique artists. In addition to the aforementioned tracks from Four Tet and Mala, the disc will include contributions from Coki, Ramadanman, Black Chow, Randomer and many others.

As if those tracks weren't enough, the CD version of the release will include a limited-edition plastic case and a set of postcards. Meanwhile, the LP will be pressed on "super-loud, super-heavyweight triple-vinyl."

Future Bass will be released by Soul Jazz on September 27 in Europe.
