If you've been getting your hopes up about new albums from Tool and offshoot A Perfect Circle this year, get ready for some serious disappointment. According to the A Perfect Circle Twitter account, neither band will be releasing a new album in 2017.
When recently asked by a fan about the rumours brewing that we could expect new albums from both projects in 2017, the APC account shut down those hopes with a simple "Not true."
This all comes in the wake of a flurry of activity from both bands, with Tool busy touring this year and so too A Perfect Circle. In fact, A Perfect Circle even signed a new record deal with BMG and have been debuting new material live.
A Perfect Circle's last studio release remains 2004's eMOTIVe, while Tool last delivered 10,000 Days in 2006.
