Prince Edward Island-based dream pop outfit Sorrey will soon return with a full-length follow-up to 2015's debut EP Thick as Thieves, and they've just unveiled a new track.
Titled "Go Get Ahead," the song will appear on the group's forthcoming LP, which is due out later this year on new label Garment District Records.
The band's namesake Emily Sorrey's enchanting, echoing voice glides atop layers of shimmering synths and propulsive percussion.
"The song is meant to be advice for the ones who don't deserve it," she tells Exclaim! "There's an undertone of surrender but also empowerment to make your own decisions, regardless of how reckless they are."
