Sonny and the Sunsets Link Up with Polyvinyl for New LP

Following a pair of platters for Fat Possum, San Francisco janglers Sonny and the Sunsets have hooked up with Polyvinyl Records to issue their next set, Longtime Companion. The ten-song outing arrives June 26.

While the act previously favoured a sugary '60s pop sound, most recently on last year's Hit After Hit, Longtime Companion apparently has Sonny Smith and co. packing up their beach blankets and heading to the ranch for the country-flavoured affair.
