The specifics on SOHN's upcoming full-length debut for 4AD have been slight since being informally announced last spring, but the Austrian-based modern R&B artist has now announced that his Tremors will rumble into stores April 8.
While a tracklist has yet to arrive in full, the album's first single is "Artifice," which SOHN is now previewing in a new video clip that you can see down below. It's unclear at present if the record will also include the recently revealed "Lessons" or previously issued singles "The Wheel" or "Bloodflows." What is known, however, is that the London-born songwriter adapted a strict, late-night songwriting schedule to put together the LP, which was recorded in his Vienna studio.
"I wanted Tremors to feel like fresh air," SOHN said of the song cycle in a statement. "There's something about the way I was working overnight on the album which found its way into the sound. Every night I worked finished with a cold sunrise and a walk home… and to me that's what Tremors sounds like."
Also unveiled is the album cover, which you can see above, as well as an additional string of dates as part of SOHN's North American spring tour. Check out that updated schedule below.
