Social Distortion "California (Hustle and Flow)"

Social Distortion "California (Hustle and Flow)"
Later this month, Californian punk/country legends Social Distortion will release Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, their seventh album and first for Epitaph. Now, they have leaked the first track from the record and it's a mid-paced blues rock stomper called "California (Hustle and Flow)."

The track boasts big-league production value and soulful backing vocals, stripping away the ragged edges of their previous work and leaving behind some radio-ready rock'n'roll along the lines of Lynyrd Skynyrd or the Black Crowes. That's not to say it's a bad thing, necessarily, but it does suggest interesting things for Hard Times.

"California (Hustle and Flow)" can be streamed in the player below, while Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes will hit stores on January 18.
