So Many Dynamos Ready Third LP and Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jun 4, 2009

Illinois-based prog dance crew So Many Dynamos have announced the details of The Loud Wars, their upcoming third album. Due next week (June 9) from Vagrant, the album sees the band taking their Dismemberment Plan-influenced dance jams to a much fuller, larger level of sound.

To understand their marriage of indie songcraft with experimental busyness, look no further than the album's production team: The Loud Wars was produced by Death Cab for Cutie's Chris Walla and mixed by Mars Volta/the Locust producer Alex Newport.

Two tracks from the album, "Artifacts of Sound" and "New Bones," are currently streaming at the band's MySpace page.

On top of the album release, the band have prepared a feast of tour dates this summer, which include Canadian stops in Toronto and Montreal as soon as the album is released.
