So Cow Gets Meaningless Friendly on New Album, Launches North American Tour
Irish garage pop genius Brian Kelly has been working with his lo-fi So Cow project for years, but finally broke through with his self-titled debut last fall. Now, Kelly and his band have completed a new record for release later this month.

According to a brief post on the So Cow website, the album is called Meaningless Friendly and will be released on Chicago's Tic Tac Totally sometime in late February. Little else is known about the record, but keep an eye peeled for it the next time TTT update their release page.

Leading up to the album's release, So Cow have also dropped a new covers EP that includes tracks by the Soft Boys, the Go-Betweens, Tall Dwarfs, Shonen Knife and others. The eight-song mix can be downloaded here.

In keeping with their endless work ethic, the band have also announced a massive North American tour that includes stops at SXSW, along with Canadian shows in Montreal, Hamilton and Toronto.
