Toronto-based Arts & Crafts signees Snowblink took to the Lake Stage late Saturday afternoon to deliver a set of ethereal folk-pop. Singer Daniela Gesundheit had her signature guitar bedecked with animal horns, as she led the three-piece through songs from their latest record Inner Classics. Paying homage to the summery pop stylings of her original California home, Gesundheit opened with "Pray for Surf" — with help from Dan Goldman on guitar (and bells at one point) and the debut of their new drummer. The mellow crowd was treated to new material including a song based on a Jewish women's folk song and one called "Cyclone." It was a slowed-down cover of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" that got the biggest response, though. Gesundheit's voice was as lovely as ever, though a couple of prolonged bouts of banter broke the spell that the music could have cast.
