Snoop Dogg Wants to Move to Canada Following Trump Win

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Nov 10, 2016

Just over half of Americans went to the polls earlier this week (November 8) to elect a reality television star to be the president of their nation, and even though the state of California also legalized the recreational use of marijuana for adults, it seems that still isn't enough to keep Snoop Dogg on the West Coast.

Singing a similar tune to that of Lena Dunham and Bryan Cranston, the Doggfather is potentially looking to make a move to the Great White North after receiving the news that Donald Trump would be the next United States president. In an Instagram post showing Toronto's recognizable skyline, he called the city his "new home" before asking Drake for a hookup on some property.

Should he actually follow through with the move, we would imagine Toronto would welcome Snoop with open arms, though he might want to keep away from the Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment offices for a little while longer.

See his post below, and find out how other musicians and artists reacted to the United States election results here.
