Snoop Dogg Wants the Toronto Raptors' Kawhi Leonard to Play for the L.A. Lakers

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jun 14, 2019

Snoop Dogg is a frequent sports spectator in cities all over, but his heart is with his hometown team the Los Angeles Lakers — so it only makes sense that he wants the NBA Finals MVP and Toronto Raptor Kawhi Leonard on his team.

Snoop stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (June 13) to chat about the NBA Finals. They also discussed Drake's tattoos of Golden State Warriors Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, though Snoop made it clear he would never get a rival like a Clippers player inked on him.

When asked who he would want traded to the Lakers to play alongside LeBron James, Snoop didn't hesitate to answer, "Kawhi Leonard." He also suggested Anthony Davis.

The West Coast rapper even followed up on Instagram with a wishful Photoshop job of Leonard in a yellow and purple jersey.

Watch the conversation with Kimmel and see Leonard as a Laker below.
