Sounding like they never missed a beat, Edmonton's expatriate legendary proto-skate punks SNFU follow up their 1997 FYULABA (Fuck You Up Like a Bad Attitude) disc with what may be five of the best songs they've recorded in a decade. While their last three records on Epitaph were fine, they never really measured up to the earlier BYO releases, or even to the two Cargo records. Now on Alternative Tentacles, Chi, Mark and the boys sound like they have a renewed sense of purpose. The music is fast and frantic and the lyrics and attitude ooze old school punk puss. Watch for them on tour across Canada throughout April.
