Snail Mail (a.k.a. Lindsey Jordan) has just unveiled a cover of Courtney Love's "2nd Most Beautiful Girl in the World."

To be clear, the original song comes from the band Courtney Love (of early '90s K Records fame), fronted by Lois Maffeo, but it's still well worth a listen.

Jordan's emotive vocals are backed by lo-fi guitar strums, making for a song that sounds like it could have been a Snail Mail original — so it's hardly surprising that the track has been a live staple for Jordan and her band at past shows.

Snail Mail released her debut album Lush earlier this year, but you can get a hit of fresh material by streaming her new rendition of "2nd Most Beautiful Girl in the World" here via the Amazon Originals series.
