It turns out the Smashing Pumpkins didn't just called their recent tour "Shiny and Oh So Bright" for shits 'n' giggles — that's actually the title of their new comeback album. After sharing new single "Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)" last night, the group have delivered the details for their long-awaited new release.

The album is called Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. It was produced by Rick Rubin, and will arrive on November 16.

The Smashing Pumpkins previously released Monuments to an Elegy in 2014. That said, this is the first studio release to feature Billy Corgan playing alongside both James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin since 2000's Machina/The Machines of God.

Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 features eight songs, including "Silvery Sometimes" and the previously released "Solara." Watch a brand new lyric video for "Silvery Sometimes" below.
