Shoegaze greats Slowdive gave fans an all-timer of a comeback album with 2017's self-titled LP, and now they're teasing new music, with a single set to drop next week.
The new single is called "kisses," and a video is set to premiere on Tuesday (June 20). Slowdive shared a clip on social media; the song appears to tap into the peppier, poppier side of their sound, with a brisk beat draped in their signature swaths of echo and reverb.

He told the podcast SixPack [via Post-Punk.com], "The references I brought in were electronic-based, because that's where I'm coming from these days, but then it will slowly work its way back to being an indie guitar thing. Sometimes I'm a bit disappointed because all the keyboards will disappear, and my synthwave album has just gone out the window, which is probably a good thing."
