Slowdive Map Out Canadian Stops on Reunion Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 14, 2014

Earlier this year, beloved shoegaze act Slowdive announced their reformation. Now, they've ramped things up by rolling out a full-on reunion tour.

The group have mapped out a decent-sized world tour, including stops throughout North America. There are three Canadian stops on the trek, including dates in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.

In a press release, the group said, "North America was good to Slowdive back in the 1990s." The band also singled out Toronto, where they played their last show at Lee's Palace in 1994. "It felt like we were playing to people who 'got it' and some of our favourite performances were on those tours."
