Canadian rock institution Sloan are already having a big year, as they are celebrating 20 years together and the release of their tenth studio album, The Double Cross, in 2011. We have already taken an in-depth look at the band's history through our Timeline, but a new video tribute series will see a bevy of famous Sloan fans remembering their favourite artists.
For the next two weeks, we will be posting the videos in our Click Hear section every day. Today (May 9), marks the first video in the series and sees a variety of musicians and actors discussing the time they first heard Sloan.
The video, which can be viewed here, features actors like Jason Schwartzman, Dave Foley and Degrassi's Stephan Brogen, as well as Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew, Buck 65, Billy Talent's Ian D'Sa, Sebastien Grainger, the Dears' Murray Lightburn and Natalie Yanchak, Jason Falkner, Butch Walker and K-os.
