Sloan, Bedouin Soundclash and Great Lake Swimmer to Play Free Outdoor Show Tomorrow in Toronto
While there's no doubt that some will be ecstatic to meet the stars of Being Erica, Dragon's Den and Hockey Night in Canada, it's pretty safe to say that tomorrow's CBC Live! event will go absolutely nuclear by the time Sloan (pictured), Bedouin Soundclash and Great Lake Swimmers take the stage for a free outdoor show.

The all-day affair, taking place in downtown Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow (September 23) intends to show off the national broadcaster's current crop of talent, from meet-and-greets with the stars of its shows to its on-air personalities. The three-band bill that will cap the event is just the icing on the cake. Or maybe more like the noisy sparkler candle perched atop.

The concert portion, which begins at 7:30 p.m. local time, will find CBC hosts Jian Ghomeshi, Bob Mackowycz and George Stroumboulopoulos introducing and likely interviewing each of the celebrated Canuck acts throughout the live broadcast.

With so much free CanCon going on in the streets of Hogtown tomorrow, chances are good that no one will leave underwhelmed. Yes, we know that's not a word, because we looked it up.
