Shelved by Paper Bag then released in limited quantities by Pleasence, Toronto crooner Slim Twig's excellent Hound at the Hem finally gets a U.S. release today (October 28) via DFA Records. To celebrate, the artist has shared a video for "Maintain the Charade."
The fuzzed-out post-punk song is treated to an equally off-kilter video. Abstract and without any obvious narrative, the grainy black and white clip follows a series of creepy, cloaked figures as they walk around a cityscape.
