Sled Island Fleshes Out Full 2014 Lineup with Dan Deacon, Oneohtrix Point Never, AraabMuzik
Sled Island keeps on getting bigger. The Calgary festival has already shared a couple of announcements about artists playing this year's event, and now the organizers have confirmed the full lineup of names that will be appearing when Sled Island runs from June 18 to 22.

Newly added performers include Dan Deacon, AraabMuzik, Oneohtrix Point Never, Bry Webb (of Constantines), Cashmere Cat, Blondes, Public Animal (the latest project form Ian Blurton), Crosss, Woolworm, Jon McKiel, Open Relationship, Johnny de Courcy, Soupcans, Freak Heat Waves and more.

There are also a few new Calgary artists on the bill like the Mandates, Lab Coast, 36?, Teledrome and Holgans. Shows will take place at more than 30 venues around Cowtown.

These acts join previously announced performers including Spiritualized, Neko Case, St. Vincent, Joel Plaskett Emergency, Rocket from the Crypt, the Julie Ruin, Rhye, Killer Mike, Mission of Burma, Bob Mould, Blitzen Trapper, the Fresh & Onlys, White Lung, PS I Love You and many more.

Riot grrl pioneer Kathleen Hanna is acting as guest curator, and she will participate in a Q&A for a screening of the documentary The Punk Singer, which is about her life.
