Sleaford Mods Hit Toronto on First North American Tour

While we've been admiring UK post-punk duo Sleaford Mods from afar for quite some time, they've yet to visit North America on tour. Fortunately, that will change next year with their first scheduled dates on our side of the pond.

The duo of Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn will hit Canada and the United States for a brief run of six shows.

Unfortunately, there's only one Canadian stop on the full itinerary, with Sleaford Mods bringing their anthems to Toronto's Lee's Palace on April 1.

Speaking of their American dates, Williamson said, "It's about time the U.S. had a worthy English export."

Sleaford Mods recently signed with Rough Trade, who released their TCR EP. The group will release a new album in early 2017 — presumably right before the tour.

Tour dates:

03/30 Brooklyn, NY - Warsaw
04/01 Toronto, ON - Lee's Palace
04/03 Chicago, IL - Double Door
04/05 Seattle, WA - Neumo's
04/07 San Francisco, CA - Slim's
04/09 Los Angeles, CA - The Echo
