Published Jul 17, 2014Veteran producer Arthur Baker is known for working with artists like Bob Dylan, New Order and Afrika Bambaata. Now, Baker has reached out to a younger generation to help him finish off his archival cut "No Price," which is coming out through his new project Slam Dunk'd.
Originally called "Can't Put No Price on Love," the song was recorded in 1979, but it went unreleased. Pitchfork notes that Baker rediscovered the song in 2009 and contacted MSTRKRFT's Al-P to help finish him the track. They later roped in Chromeo's Dave 1 to add vocals.
The resulting is a thumping dance anthem. It will be coming out in September through Baked Recordings/Columbia Records.
