Skydiggers Bring Co-founder Peter Cash Back Out for 'Slow Burnin' Fire Tour'

In the wake of Skydiggers' 25th anniversary celebrations last year, which included the release of four albums and a bunch of touring, the rootsy combo have announced they're keeping the party going this spring by heading out on another Canadian trip.

Dubbed the "Slow Burnin' Fire Tour 2014," the trek will have the outfit spreading a series of dates out across the Prairies, Ontario and the Maritimes between May and June. A press release notes that in addition to the group's current lineup, Skydiggers will be joined on stage each night by co-founder Peter Cash. While Cash teamed up with Skydiggers last fall for an anniversary show in Toronto, this will be the first time he's travelled with the band in 18 years.

"It was a crazy, inspiring night... it all felt really natural," Cash said in a statement, adding that the October performance had all the players "excited about the idea of playing more shows together." You'll find the show specifics down below.

Prior to leaving Skydiggers in 1996, Cash served up classic band cuts like "I'm Wondering, Feel You Closer" and "What Do You See?" He went on to work with his brother Andrew as the Cash Brothers, though the two outfit's put together a collaborative album in 2006.
