Live At The Dynamo

BY Sean PalmerstonPublished Feb 1, 2003

This is an interesting release. Almost like an official (or perhaps unofficial) bootleg, the album offers up two live performances by the English pagan/Celtic metal band from 1992 and 1995. I only know this because of the sticker on the cover of the record, which happens to be the only liner notes contained within the entire album. The performances themselves are great, however. The 1995 live set is first, followed by the 1992 set, but package-wise, it's a pretty unfriendly introduction to the group's work. The beginner wanting to find out more about the band should look back towards some of their earlier albums released on Noise Records, especially 1992's A Burnt Offering for the Bone Idol. This is for collectors and diehards only.
